The Snow Lynx Bengal

Millions around the world  have longed to own a white tiger for themselves. While she may not be a tiger, she most certainly is a beautiful white Lynx Snow Bengal.

The Lynx are the only Bengals to be born completely white. It is only as they age when their patterns begin to emerge and show.

Lynx Bengals and Their Patterns

This beautiful lynx female is a great example of just how white Lynx’s are. The Lynx, (also known as Seal Lynx or Snow Lynx) will slowly begin coming into their prints and patterns as they age and mature.

The process can be gradual and will vary based on what each parent carries. Some Lynx will always be faded to almost invisible, while others (and standard for the breed) will be darker towards their back legs and fade while going into the belly. Like an ombre effect.

Then there is the Charcoal Lynx. One of which we were blessed with with our most recent pairing and litter. Her pattern was lightly visible at birth and as she has aged it gained contrast in its vibrancy!
In only 7 short weeks this Lynx’s pattern showed up amazingly regardless of what lighting she was in.

Her mask, darker ears and tail are the true indications of her being a Charcoal Lynx Bengal and add to her amazing looks and contrast patterns. We know what you’re really here for… the EYES! Okay, so we know that might not be what brought you here to our Blog Post, but it will be what brings you back! The eyes of a Lynx Bengal!

Lynx Bengals Aqua Eyes

Bengals can have a wide variety of eye color. However, it is only the Lynx Bengal that can posses the deepest Caribbean aqua blue eyes.  No Photoshop here lady and gents. This is the real mccoy! And only the Lynx will have them.

While it’s possible for other Bengals to possess these colors, it is usually a sign of a genetic issue as should thus be avoided… which we can discuss more in a future post. But in truth, only a Lynx can posses them and one of the many reasons we love the Lynx color patterns!
